Avoid assuming that a cleaner safe for porcelain, ceramic or glass is automatically safe for natural stone.

Acidic cleaners can damage marble, limestone and other acid-sensitive stones.

Abrasive products may affect polished surfaces.

When you are unsure, use the manufacturer's recommended care procedure for the individual stone and test unfamiliar products in an inconspicuous location.
