Made with Eastern Black and Eastern White natural marble, this polished basketweave mosaic combines small square accents with elongated rectangular pieces to create a distinctive woven appearance. The contrast between the two stones gives the pattern definition without relying on printed designs or artificial coloring.

The basketweave pattern has been used in traditional bathroom designs for generations, and Malaga Nero offers a natural stone interpretation that works in both classic and updated interiors. Its polished finish brings out the depth of the black marble and the brightness of the white stone. Because the pattern is assembled on mesh-backed sheets, the individual pieces remain aligned during installation, making it easier to carry the design across a floor or wall.

For a traditional bathroom, consider using Malaga Nero on the floor with white subway tile walls, a pedestal sink, and polished chrome fixtures. In a more contemporary space, pair it with a floating wood vanity, simple white wall tile, and matte black hardware. The black and white pattern also makes an attractive kitchen backsplash behind white cabinetry or a decorative fireplace surround where natural marble can add texture and contrast.

Malaga Nero is suitable for residential floors, shower floors, shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, and accent walls. The product is also listed for outdoor use, although the polished marble surface should be evaluated for the specific exposure and slip-resistance requirements of the installation. Made from Eastern Black and Eastern White natural marble, this mesh-mounted tile combines elongated stone pieces with small square accents to create a bowtie-inspired basketweave pattern.
